Oh my god. I just need to let my Hulk/Iron Man feels out for a little fresh air here because jesus. I love this so hard.

I think it’s pretty obvious that the worst thing about being the Hulk is the tendency to turn into an enormous green rage monster and fuck shit up. But I think that it’s pretty safe to say that the second worst thing about being the Hulk is that when you’re NOT an enormous green rage monster people still treat you like you are. And when he’s not the Hulk, Bruce is just Bruce. And Bruce is a pretty sweet guy. He’s calm and friendly and, here’s the important part, not actually psychotically violent by nature.

If anything is going to get Bruce feeling “low” I’d think it would be that. But Tony? Gives not a single fuck. Of COURSE Bruce is going to appreciate being treated like a human being, even if the way Tony interacts with all human beings is by being incredibly obnoxious.

oh my god, YES, this scene killed me because it shows how Tony is the ONLY person who trusts Bruce and doesn’t treat him like a grenade.

I saw Matt today. Finally. I could not have been happier.

The second I got into the gym I was already scanning the crowd for his face, and in the process I found Amanda. Then she and I stood together while I wrung my hands and turned around and around in circles, pretending to be interested when people came over to greet me.

When he came into the gym, my stomach did a literal backflip. I kid you not. I distinctly felt it fold over, and immediately I felt my hands start to shake, possibly worse than they ever have. Actually, forget my hands. They were the most visibly noticeable, but I could feel my whole body trembling.

And my prediction a few days ago was right. The first thing he did was give me a hug. I couldn’t help myself, my biggest smile came onto my face the second I saw him coming towards me, and I hugged Scott, too, of course.

I made fun of him when he cut the entire food line by accident, he rolled his eyes at me when the speeches were getting too long (which was almost immediately), and in a moment of extreme boredom, somehow started staring vacantly right at me, to which I responded by staring right back, which I know had nothing to do with me (because I did almost the same thing to Scott, just at something directly behind his head) but it was still absolutely mesmerizing.

I’m weird afterward, when I’m describing it, but I’ve always felt so grateful that I’m naturally cool (LOL definitely not cool, but I don’t stutter, or blush, or say things that I don’t mean to) in these situations.

It felt so good to see him again, and really, to be back in the presence of all the people there, because the ski team is my family, and I missed them. But because of him I could not have been happier.
